RatPack Intro:

Do you know where David Attenborough’s favourite place in the world is? The Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation in Tropical North Queensland! This mans been to ALOT of places and we can’t think of anyone better than this legend to take a recommendation from! The Daintree Rainforest is a world heritage listed rainforest and the oldest rainforest in the world and is an incredible site.

The guys at The Adventure Company will take you on an awesome journey through the region and will show you some of the most beautiful spots. You’ll drive along one of the most epic coastal drives to visit the town of Port Douglas, go on a guided walk through the stunning Mossman Gorge National Park where there are crystal clear waters that go through the lush tropical rainforest and then head up through the Daintree Rainforest to get to Cape Tribulation. Whilst you are in Cape Tribulation you’ll have the opportunity to chill on the world famous Cape Tribulation beach - where rainforest meets reef, enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches and hang out under a palm tree. You’ll also get to go on a wildlife cruise of the Daintree River, keep an eye out for those crocs though as this is where they live {they aren’t joking when they say keep your arms and legs in the boat at all times!}.... There is so much wildlife to spot whilst in this region, look out for the cassowaries, tree kangaroos, spiders and crocodiles!

We love this trip because you get to see so many places in one day! The guys at Adventure Company will make sure you see all the best spots with lots of photo opportunities and WOW moments. Don’t forget to take your camera and get some amazing shots of some of Queensland’s beautiful spots! When you visit you’ll see why it’s one of Sir David’s fave spots.

The scenic coastal journey takes you first to the township of Port Douglas for free time (Starter Pak passengers) OR the Wildlife Habitat Sanctuary (Deluxe Pak passengers), where you will have the opportunity to see the rare and endangered Cassowary, as well as Tree Kangaroos, crocodiles, koalas and many other native Australian animals.

Everyone can spend up to one hour at the majestic Mossman Gorge National Park taking in thecrystal clear waters flowing through the lush tropical rainforest. From there we travel on to the Daintree River, which we cross by cable ferry before heading into the Daintree Rainforest on to Cape Tribulation.

At Cape Tribulation Beach Resort, we enjoy some free time (Starter Pak) OR sit down for a chef prepared lunch (Deluxe Pak), followed by a visit to the world famous Cape Tribulation beach-where the rainforest meets the reef. Those travelling on the Starter Pak have the option to bring their own food, purchase something along the way or upgrade to include our lunch option. We then return to the Daintree River for a guided wildlife cruise, spotting crocodiles and other animal life.
