RatPack Intro:

Tassie is an awesome place to head to if you want an epic roadie whilst checking out BEAUT scenery and natural landscapes. This island is as remote as it gets and offers the ultimate wilderness experience with massive mountains & lakes. You’ll also be spoilt for choice if your a wine lover as tassie is the home to loads of amazing wine {aka take a break from the Aussie goon!!}...

On this epic trip with Jump Tours you’ll be experiencing the East Coast of Tassie and will be seeing ALOT during this 2 day 1 night adventure. This tour offers a total contrast to Tassie’s western rainforests, the east coast is home to sugar white sandy beaches and crystal clear water. You’ll be hitting up highlights like the famous Wineglass Bay and the magical Bay of Fires & Bicheno’s Penguins! Jump's East Coast Adventure is an awesome experience and at an awesome price too {that’s what we like >>> hold tight!}

Your accommodation on this trip is included and you’ll be staying at Bicheno! This tour is an epic price but just be aware it doesn’t include your food as this is a self catering tour - no dramas though as there are kitchen facilities and you’ll be making regular stops off to buy your food so get your pals together and make some group meals we reckon.

We love the Jump Tours in Tassie because they offer SO much adventure, banter and take you to some of the best spots known by the locals. Want something a bit longer? Check out the full selection of Tassie tours with Jump like the ‘Best of Tassie’ tour.

Itinerary:

Day 1 : Bay of Fires & Bicheno

This morning we head north-east to the incredible Sideling Lookout, stop to admire the amazing memorial carvings at Legerwood and taste the cheesy delights of the Pyengana Dairy Company. In the afternoon it’s time for the highlight of the day - the stunning Bay of Fires. Once named Lonely Planet’s destination of the year, the bay has some of the whitest sand and clearest water you’ll ever see. Take your time to explore the beach, swim in the turquoise waters or simply admire the view over a coffee! In the evening we arrive at our accommodation in the seaside town of Bicheno. As darkness falls head to the beach to see the little penguins come ashore to nest. Overnight - Bicheno

Meal(s) included : None

Day 2 : Wineglass Bay, Freycinet National Park & Kate's Berry Farm

This morning there’s an optional stop to check out some unique Tasmanian fauna at East Coast Natureworld - soon after we arrive it’s feeding time for the Tasmanian devils, wombats, echidnas and koalas and many more animals that call the park home. Now it’s time to pack a picnic lunch as we check out another Tassie icon - the gorgeous sparkling waters of Wineglass Bay. I hope you had your Weetbix because this is a walk that will get the heart pumping, with the reward of fantastic views at the top of the lookout. If you’ve still got some gas in the tank trek down to the beach itself - it’s rated as one of the top five beaches of the world! In the afternoon we head down the coast back to Hobart, calling in at Coles Bay & Kate's Berry Farm.
